So, more pictures! Here are the last few from the first football game... and some from her "I'm 11 months old!" shoot.

First Liberty onesie from Bethany (T.)

SOOO tired after the game!

Standing in my carseat is WAY more fun than sitting in it!

I'm 11 months old!

Now with the hood (I LOVE this sweater!)

get this hood off of my head!
And... she's off! Photo shoots are FAR more difficult now that she is mobile!

I know, I know

I promised pictures and they never came. SORRY! Life is INSANE lately!

Quick update.
Work - still going amazing!
Riley - growing WAY too fast still. I see a trend and I don't think she's going to slow down anytime soon! It's amazing how she changes EVERY day!
Ryan - still doing good! I love watching him grow as a man... a husband... and a dad. I'm a pretty lucky girl!

Other topics... we just got back from a week at the beach! I'll update with pictures in a separate post after Riley goes to bed this evening.

No more traveling for a while... October is a busy month! Next weekend, some kids from back home will be down to visit LU. That's a bonus cuz that means my mom will be here! The weekend after is Riley's birthday party (we're hoping to rearrange so out of town family can still come... first birthday's only happen once!)... then it is Homecoming at LU and a wedding... then it's Halloween and already November! HOLY SMOKES! November should be a bit more relaxing. We'll be spending Thanksgiving here at our house. If you're in town, you should join us! Traveling for all of the holidays is expensive and exhausting! So we're starting a new tradition this year and staying home for it! Christmas will be spent in Ohio (I'm hoping for a white Christmas!) and then we're in to the New Year! Time flies when you're having fun.

So, without further ado, here are some pictures!

I'm 10 months old!Um, what!? (LU Block Party... end of August)

Oh mom... I love slobbering all over your shirt!

I'm cute, I know.

Big smile! (or evil!) First home LU football game of the season!

Zephaniah 3:17

I still need to get lip gloss pictures loaded... and pictures from the first LU home game! So much fun!

The past 2 weeks have FLOWN by!! I'll give a quick recap!

Work - LOVE my job! My co-workers are FABULOUS! and my clients are tough, but I love 'em. I have spent more time in the principals office the past 2 weeks than I EVER did in my entire time in school. Haha. Since I have no choice but to work right now, I couldn't be more happy with where I am working! Today I learned this nugget of information. In 5th grade you can be "going out" with someone without actually going anywhere. Heck, you don't even have to sit near each other. Just make eye contact once in a while and talk once at recess and you are "going out." I mean, this relationship has lasted for 4 weeks, so SOMETHING is going right!

Ryan - still truckin' along. Still working hard! He joined the band at church and will be playing the keyboard every other week. We have been able to keep the keyboard at our little house and I'm certainly not complaining! I like hearing him play! On Sunday's that he is not playing, he is working the sound. Very exciting! He has totally jumped in to this church feet first and isn't looking back! It's amazing!

Riley - oh geez. Too much. She is such a funny kid! She has got a VERY strong-willed personality on her. I'm sure at some point in her life, I'll be cursing it... but for right now, I love it. She has had no issues with the transition! I am so proud of her! I could not be more thankful for the lady who has been loving our little girl while we are at work. R LOVES Riley and so do her kids! It is great to see that my little princess is getting spoiled rotten!
As far as milestones and growing up... she crawls faster than the speed of light! She is cruising along furniture more and more these days. She will switch between pieces of furniture as long as she doesn't have to take a step w/o holding on. She'll be walking before we know it! She can stand up on her own - she did this twice on Sunday. Just in the middle of our bed, she was squatting and put her hands on a pillow and stood straight up w/o holding on to anything! She did it again that afternoon in the middle of the living room! More and more, she is letting go of whatever she is balanced on to just stand on her own! She's constantly chattering away and making faces at us. Rooster will do anything to make a person laugh... and the more you laugh, the more she does whatever it is.

We are having a blast! Lovin' life.

I'll leave you with one of my all time favorite Bible verses today.

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

Good recipe!

Tomorrow is the big day... first day of work sans Riley. It's a big day for both of us. But, it's forced me to REALLY think about meal plans for lunch AND dinner. So today we did grocery shopping w/ our meals in mind.

This is what we're having tonight. It's in the oven right now and smells DELICIOUS! I tasted the mixture before I put it in the tortilla's and it was yuuuuummmmmy!

Spaghetti, Daycare, and Lip Gloss

Well, it is official. I got a job. I'll be working for a non-profit organization in their school based mental health program. It was a HARD decision, but I really feel at peace about it. Of course I wish I could stay at home right now... but this is the next best thing. Riley will only have to be at daycare from about 8:15 - 4... 4 of those hrs will be napping. Haha. The girls likes herself some sleep! I'll have (most) school holidays and breaks (except for summer) off and that will be FANTASTIC! God is clearly working in the situation... I start on Tuesday, so I go w/o a break in between babysitting and starting (that's good for the finances), it's an organization I've been watching for a while, it's an ideal job (hard, but I like a challenge), pay is actually better than I expected, great hrs, great daycare option. I'm still sad to leave Riley though...

Next... spaghetti. My child LOVES spaghetti! Here are some pictures and videos of it!

Lip gloss. She loooooooooooves lip gloss. This afternoon, she ripped everything off of the book shelf, found the lip gloss, and then went to play. Of course, she took it with her to play... Such a girly girl already. God help me.

Other than that... nothing huge going on. haha. Monday is a holiday, woo hoo! My parents are coming down tomorrow afternoon - Monday morning. I'm so excited! It'll be a nice end to the summer.

Some new things

First... below is a link to a mega give away that I'm participating in. Go enter... there's TONS of great stuff!

Now... I got ambitious and did my first solo rag quilt this weekend! It was so much fun! I can't wait to do another one. I put it in my etsy shop (along with some Halloween bow sets. Hint hint.)
